Background:

Andrew Philip Burrows, aged 57, wearing a grey T-shirt and sitting with both arms folded at Carlisle Crown Court, was found guilty of 'rape' and subsequently sentenced to jail on June 30, 2023.

What had this fucker done?

He was guilty for 9 counts of 'rape', with one of the victims being under the age of 13. Additionally, he was also legally responsible for 'sexual assaults' on multiple occasions, engaging in sexual activity with and in the presence of a child; ; causing a child to engage in sexual activity; and one charge which Judge Nicholas Barker said involved 'sadistic' physical mistreatment including the holding of a gun to the head.

What did the victims have to say?

One of the victims was traumatized, recalling what had happened to her as "life-changing" and "disgusting".

Other victims suffered flashbacks and were left contemplating suicide.

Aggravating factors that made him a real 'fucker':

During the 2-week trial, he had denied all 23 charges whilst he was eventually found guilty unanimously by the jury.

Also, he assaulted minors and those who were mentally incapacitated. Worse still, he used excessive force, drugs and alcohol to facilitate the offence.

During the hearing, he showed no remorse whatsoever. The judge condemned the fucker when handing down the judgement.

Aside from his sentence, Burrows must also sign the sex offenders' register for life and serve an extended 3-year licence period.
